Owners and barbeque experts Matt Crews and Joe Rizzo opened Woody's Bar-B-Q in the spring of 2000, with a vision of creating Flagler's ultimate barbeque experience. Trained in the fine art of low and slow smoking, Crews and Rizzo have spent most of their adult life creating the word's best barbeque. They bring their passion to every dish they create.

Matt Crews and Joe Rizzo both grew up in Flagler County. They graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School and have continued to help out the schools and local organizations here in Palm Coast. In 1998, Matt and Joe noticed that there was no real barbeque to be found anywhere in Flagler County. That is when they came up with the idea for Woody's Bar-B-Q.

Matt and Joe opened the doors of Woody's Bar-B-Q in the spring of 2000. Before they created his first masterpiece, they vowed to only use the best ingredients, and prepare each dish with an infusion of patience and passion. Critics have been raving ever since.
